1. General Policy

By purchasing from International Design Furniture, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Sales Policy

  • All sales are final unless defective.

  • Customers are responsible for confirming measurements, colors, and specifications before purchase.

  • We are not responsible for items that do not fit through doors, hallways, or staircases.

3. Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of purchase.

  • We accept cash, credit cards, and other approved payment methods.

  • All custom and special orders require a deposit or full prepayment.

4. Delivery & Shipping

  • Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.

  • Customers must inspect all items at the time of delivery. Any defects or damages must be reported immediately to the driver or our store.

  • Once items are signed for and accepted, they are considered delivered in good condition.

5. Warranty & Liability

  • Manufacturer warranties may apply where available.

  • We are not responsible for damages caused by misuse, accidents, or improper assembly after delivery.

 Shipping & Delivery Policy

Local Delivery

  • Local delivery is available within the Bay Area for an additional fee.

  • Delivery appointments will be scheduled in advance.

  • Customers must ensure clear access for delivery (doorways, hallways, elevators).

Nationwide Shipping

  • We offer shipping to locations outside the Bay Area through third-party carriers.

  • Shipping costs vary based on distance, carrier, and size of order.

  • Nationwide shipping will be available in the near future. We appreciate your patience and will provide further updates as we finalize the details.

Delivery Inspection

  • Customers must inspect items at the time of delivery.

  • If an item is damaged or defective, it must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • If no claim is made within that time, items are considered accepted in good condition.


 Refund & Return Policy

All Sales Final

  • All sales are final. Once an order has been placed and delivered, we cannot accept cancellations, returns, or exchanges.

Exceptions – Defective or Damaged Items

  • If your furniture is defective or damaged upon delivery, you must notify us within 48 hours.

  • We will review the claim and, at our discretion, offer one of the following:

    • Repair of the item

    • Replacement with the same or similar item

    • Store credit (if repair or replacement is not possible)

Non-Defective Items

  • Non-defective items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances.

Custom Orders

  • All custom and special-order items are non-refundable and non-cancellable once placed.
